Vertical/freestyle jigging has become ever so popular around the world as a hands on and extremely effective way of catching virtually every gamefish that swims. Due to its exciting nature, I have personally been avid participant in the jigging community ever since the first fish I caught vertical jigging years ago, and it is my personal specialty. In one drop jigging, anglers can have a chance to catch a grouper, cobia, king mackerel, mahi, amberjack... you name it -- all while using the same rod and reel, line and artificial lure! There is little that can top the violent strikes and endless variety in this hands on style of fishing... and then there is topwater...
Popping involves casting artificial lures that are retrieved along the surface of the water, resulting in explosive and extremely visual strikes from gamefish such as bonito, king mackerel, mahi, cobia, amberjack, and the occasional sailfish. The hands on and exciting nature of popping goes hand in hand with that of jigging. Popping can be combined with other styles of fishing; we can pop while we jig and/or drift live bait. If fly fishing is your thing, this style provides a very good shot for big gamefish on the fly. One strike from a saltwater gamefish while topwater popping and you'll be hooked for life!

Half day trips inshore (4 hours) include fishing inside of 5 miles from the beach. Depending on the time of year, there are many species to target. This is a very family friendly and kid friendly charter fishing trip. We will target flounder, red drum, spanish mackerel, cobia, king mackerel, bluefish, and bonito. Shark fishing is also available on these trips, where we will test your strength with that of blacktips, hammerheads, sandbars, lemons and spinners, with the possibility of sharks up to 150+lbs!!!
Half day trips offshore (5 hours) usually mean 20 miles or less in order to maximize the time we spend fishing. Depending on the species and time of year, jigging and popping can be effective even in these short trips. Target fish include: tarpon, cobia, red drum, flounder, spanish mackerel, bonito, king mackerel, false albacore, sea bass, gag grouper
Full day trips (8-9 hours) include fishing trips further offshore, where we target grouper, snapper, mahi (dolphin), cobia, sailfish, african pompano and amberjack. This is a great option for someone who is looking for a jigging and popping trip, or wants to combine such tactics with some trolling as well. Full days also allow for prolonged fishing trips with the same tactics and species in a half day trip, but with more variety and the ability to target many in one trip. When the weather allows, full days may be extended at the captain's discretion, where we can catch wahoo, tuna, sailfish and marlin. Please inquire about rates and conditions of extended full day charters.
Scenic tours (2 hours) are catered strongly to the desires of the client, and include dolphin tours, sunrise/sunset cruises, sightseeing and waterway tours.
All bait, ice, licenses, tackle and equipment provided. Fish cleaning is available, which includes cleaning the catch to your specifications, bagged, and packed on ice. All state and federal bag/creel and vessel limits are strictly followed, NO EXCEPTIONS!
